Some of us carry Michigan with us wherever we end up, and some of us count the year by trips north. These gifts are for both. Each one holds a real Michigan place: the dunes near Ludington, the red pier lights at Grand Haven, the water below Pictured Rocks, the Upper Falls at Tahquamenon, or the whole mitten with pins on places from Isle Royale to Detroit.

Our ornaments are white gloss aluminum, printed on both sides, about 3.5 inches across, with a red ribbon included. The back carries the place name, coordinates and the Mitten Trails mark. Our coaster sets bring the same scenes to the table: four identical coasters, not a mixed set, with a high-gloss MDF top and a cork back. Everything is made to order in the USA.

Plain or personalized. Plain ornaments are ready to gift. Personalized ornaments have two fields to fill in, Family name and Second line, up to 18 characters each, and both are required. Coasters aren't personalized.

Holiday timing. Ornaments: order by Wednesday, December 9, 2026. Coasters: order by Thursday, December 10, 2026. Both for the best chance of US delivery by December 24. We can't promise a delivery date, so earlier is better.

Our gift guides. Browse by who you're shopping for:

For people who moved away

For the sister in Arizona who still says "up north" like it's a direction on the compass, or the son in Texas who misses the lake more than he lets on.

For the cabin and the tree: Up North

For the family that made those trips together, from the first warm weekend at the cabin to the long drive over to the U.P.

For lighthouse lovers: Big Sable Point and Grand Haven

Our lighthouse gifts hold two places along the Lake Michigan shore. Big Sable Point Light, near Ludington, has stood since 1867, a white tower with a black middle band above the dunes, and we show it at sunset. Grand Haven's red south pier lights and their elevated catwalk appear iced up after a winter storm.

If someone you love left Michigan but never really left it behind, this is a small way to send a piece of home.
